Jollof Nights Connect™ is operated by Ndukauba Ltd. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

Information we collect

Facilitator accounts: name, email, optional phone, borough, accreditation status, and a hashed password managed by our authentication provider.
Event registrations: name, email, optional phone, borough, accessibility or dietary information you provide, and consent flags.
Attendance records: a record that you checked in at a session, with venue verification via a session code.
Reflections: opening, closing and next-day reflections you choose to submit.
Email notifications: delivery status, suppression flags, and unsubscribe tokens.
Technical: essential session cookies and minimal device information needed for security and stability.

Why we use it

To run and safeguard community sessions.
To send service emails (registrations, reflection prompts, safeguarding notices).
To report on programme delivery to funders in aggregate, non-identifying form.
To keep facilitator and admin accounts secure.

Cookies & session persistence

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to secure the site. If you tick Remember me on this device when signing in, your session is persisted across visits; otherwise it is cleared when you close the tab. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data.

Data retention

Active facilitator and admin accounts: retained while the account is active.
Attendance and reflection records: retained for programme reporting, typically up to 3 years, then anonymised.
Email logs: typically retained for 12 months for deliverability diagnostics.
Activation tokens: expire after 72 hours and are cleared on use.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting admin@ndukauba.co.uk. Facilitators can be disabled or revoked by an admin at any time.
